How Multiplayer Is Improved On Xbox One

Microsoft have released a video (embedded below) showing how multiplayer is improved on Xbox One.

Presented by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, Graeme “AceyBongos” Boyd and Eric “DMZilla” Doty, it goes through various subjects such as reputational matchmaking, cloud gaming and achievements, with the team who worked on those changes.

Matchmaking for the Xbox One will take into account a player’s reputation and put that person in lobbies with players who have a similar reputation level. So, hopefully, that will help good players avoid players who like to cause trouble.

The cloud gaming section covers how dedicated servers work on Xbox One while the achievement changes include the ability for developers to add new achievements or community challenges after a game is released.
