GTA: San Andreas Getting HD Re-Release On Xbox 360

Rockstar will be re-releasing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on Xbox 360 from October 26th, the developer has revealed in its website’s support section.

It reads: “GTA: San Andreas on the Xbox Marketplace will be available again for purchase beginning October 26th, 2014, through Games on Demand. This version features 720p resolution, enhanced draw distance, and Achievement support.”

The new HD version of GTA: San Andreas will be replacing the Xbox Originals version in the Games on Demand section of the Xbox 360’s game store. Unfortunately, save files won’t carry over between the two but if you own the Xbox Originals version you won’t lose access to it and it will remain your purchase history.
