Playstation Now Finally Details Subscription Plan

After months of beta testing and oddly priced rentals in the United States, Playstation Now, Sony’s game streaming service finally has detailed a Netflix-like subscription plan offering full access to the complete streaming library of titles on the service. For those who are unaware, Playstation Now was first revealed at the Playstation 4 event, and uses the Sony acquired Gaikai technology to stream select PS3 games to a number of compatible devices including PS4, PS Vita and PS TV, as well as select smartphones and televisions.

From January 13th in the US and Canada, users will be able to purchase monthly and tri-monthly subscriptions, priced at $19.99 and $44.99 respectively. No yearly offer was detailed, but users will be able to avail of a seven day free trial upon signup.

This side of the pond, we still have no concrete details on the launch of Playstation Now outside of a vague “2015”, but we would expect more details to be made available soon, including a similar subscription package as the US is getting.
