Rainbow Six Siege Delayed Until December

Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege has been delayed until 1st December in all regions. The tactical team-based shooter was originally scheduled to release in October but the developers will need extra time to fine tune the game after playtests and feedback from alpha players.

They wrote on in a blog post: “we’ve decided to push the release date of Rainbow Six Siege to December 1, 2015 for all regions. This wasn’t an easy decision, but based on the feedback we’ve received, and based on our own internal tests, we felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation. We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call.”

The closed beta starting on 24th September will go ahead as planned. It’s worth noting that the new release date puts Rainbow Six Siege launching on the same day as Just Cause 3 and just two weeks after Battlefront.
