Kimishima Named As Nintendo’s Next President

Nintendo have named Tatsumi Kimishima (pictured above) as the successor to the late Satoru Iwata.

Kimishima-san will take over as the fifth President of the company from this Wednesday, 16th September. Up to now, Kimishima has been head of Nintendo’s human resources and, prior to that, he was head of Nintendo America, the job which Reggie Fils-Aime now fulfils.

In his long career, Kimishima has also held senior positions in the Pokémon company and worked for Sanwa Bank of Japan for 27 years before joining Nintendo.
