Far Cry Primal Sends Players To The Stone Age

Ubisoft’s next first person survival shooter/collection sim has been official revealed. Set in the stone age, the trailer shows a small band of hunters preparing for the hunt, stalking their prey, and dealing with the subsequent hell that breaks loose.

Far Cry Primal – Reveal Trailer

This new time period assumably reduce the explosions and automatic weaponry Far Cry has become known for but should put more of an emphasis on the exhilarating survival aspects of the game. Primal will also be the first of its series not to be allocated a number, not including 2013’s excellent Far Cry 3 add-on: Blood Dragon.

Finally – and not to get too excited over speculation at this point – but judging from the box art it looks like we make get a saber-toothed tiger buddy. I’m very ok with that.

Far Cry Primal is set to release 23 February 2016.
