Web Summit 2015: 42,000 Atendees From Around The Globe Hit Dublin

Web Summit 2015 has kicked off, and this year it is welcoming over 42,000 attendees from around the globe. Over 30,000 attendees will explore Web Summit over three days and four nights and another 12,000 members of the community will enter through the venue doors over the course of this week for three evenings of inspiring talks at our Future of Ireland event, the Schools Summit and the Careers Night for students and recent college graduates.

1,000 speakers will talk across 21 different Summits and night time community events. This year sees the likes of Mike Krieger – founder of Instagram, Stewart Butterfield – founder of Slack and author Dan Brown to name a few. Almost every major international and local outlet is represented at Web Summit and many are sending multiple reporters. There will be live coverage from UTV Ireland, CNBC, BBC, France 24, CNN, Bloomberg and many others.
