Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Delayed Until August 2016

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed from February until August 23rd, Eidos Montreal has announced. The delay is to give the game “more time in post-production for tuning, iterations, and refinement” to meet the studio’s quality standards.

The delay also takes the game out of what is fast-becoming a crowded spring release calendar, so it’s probably a smart move business-wise.

Given how good the previous game, Human Revolution, was, we’re not too upset by this announcement as it will mean a better game hopefully. Maybe more studios should take this approach to the quality of their games!

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
